I am scarlet,

I am summer, a crowded beach

An American apparel hoody,

A bouncy bed,

An Alaskan Husky,

Waterloo Road,

I am Paris,

Tomato soup and bread,

Turkey roast dinner with stuffing,

Chocolate fudge cake with ice cream.

The Adventure Of Little Red Riding Hoodie

By Phoebe I

Age: 11

CHAPTER 1 THE GIRL IN THE HOOD!

Three years ago there was a little girl called Red Bottomly (her birth name was actually rosébelle Antonio bottomly) she was nicknamed red because she always wore a red Adias hoodie and anyone she fought ended up with blood at the end of the fight (she was the school bully) It was the day after her 13th birthday and she was going to her granny’s house to get her birthday present (black belt training with Jackie Chan) what she didn’t know was the journey was going to be an mind blowing adventure alone!

CHAPTER2 THE JOURNEY

To get to her granny’s, Red had to ride on her bike through the forest of amputated ligaments, next swim across the lake of corpses, then hotwire a motorbike in pleasure beach and finally up the steepest hill in the whole world

CHAPTER 3 FOREST ALERT

The first obstacle to the villainous journey was the forest of amputated ligaments that were cut off by local murderous, alcoholics and drug dealers. Red was riding through the forest when 3 men jumped out on Red and the 1st one said, ‘would you like an amazing deal of cocaine and cannabis for just £5. The 2nd man said ‘give me all your ligaments!’ the last man was drunk and said ‘dlouw ouy ekil a tnip’ (would you like a pint?) Well, Red jumped off her bike drop kicked the murderer, punched the drug dealer and touched the drunk man wit her little finger on his forehead she had defeated them! She got on her bike and rode off extremely fast.

CHAPTER 4 THE LAKE

Now for the second task, the lake of corpses.  The lake was full of dead bodies because when the people in the forest had killed the victim and threw their bodies in the lake, there was no evidence that they did it. The lake was disgusting it was full of disease and rats. So Red had to make a decision, swim it or jump it? So she decided to jump it. She found some wood and 5 big strong stones and made quite a big ramp out them. Then she turned her bike around and pedalled up the ramp at 100mph and landed at the other side if the lake ‘SCORE’ thought Red Riding Hoodie

CHAPTER 5 THEIF IN PLEASURE BEACH

She had done it many times; find a motorbike where the dumb owner had left the keys in/by it. ‘ Simple’ Red thought. She eventually found a Yamaha Dragstar with the key under the bike. So she turned it on and rode right through the amusement park but ‘ oh no the man who owned the bike is coming after me, time to crank up the speed’ said Red so she turned the speed up to 180mph then rode through the gates ‘ oh well only ran over 10 people ‘thought Red. Then she got off the motorway and stopped at the most difficult place since Mount Everest …

THE HILL OF DOOM

CHAPTER 6 THE HILL OF DOOM

It was time for the last obstacle, the hill! It was 145 –ish holes and it was extremely steep. Red turned on the engine and rode up the hill then fell down then rode up then fell down for 145 times (the same amount off holes in the hill.)

Finally (after 2 hours) she got up. Rang the bell. Jackie Chan answered the door. Then pushed her down again and laughed saying ‘ its all about timing.’  Eventually she got up again (but by this time it was 9:00 and was exhausted) (so she had a sleep and the next day) and had her black belt training and became more famous than Jackie Chan (not.)

She is now the late great little red riding hoodie.

This is from a work in progress by Jamie E:

Imagine if your country was controlled by one deity, and if that deity wasn’t alone. Imagine if every country had a similar deity. And the only thing that stood between chaos was a simple game. Chess. Well, that’s my world.

My name’s Elijah by the way. I live I Great Britain , and welcome to my world.

*

“Your move.” I said, after capturing a black rook with my queen.

“Now now, no need to rush, you may be the deity of Great Britain, but why so hasty?” She said, while moving a black pawn forward to take a white bishop.

“When it comes to my country, I take no risks.” I retort, while knocking her king down. “Checkmate.”
The chess table lit up, and the surroundings faded. The pure whiteness that had surrounded us suddenly shifted back to the park. The trees rustling in the cool spring air, the sweet smell of flowers in full bloom foretold a month of peace.

Now, instead of being surrounded by a chess board, natural surroundings became apparent to me. She stood up, her long, waist-length purple hair swaying in the spring gust. She wore jeans and a plain white T-shirt, that complimented her figure perfectly.

Now, instead of being surrounded by a chess board, natural surroundings became apparent to me. She stood up, her long, waist-length purple hair swaying in the spring gust. She wore jeans and a plain white T-shirt that complimented her figure perfectly. Her eyes a light brown, almost hazel, that gave me the impression she knew something I didn’t.

“Elijah, you need to be careful. People are after Great Britain, for unknown reasons. You need to have your wits about you. Please, be careful.” She said, her eyes lit with concern.

“Of course Alexia, I’ll be careful.” I smiled; she made me feel like a small child whenever she spoke like this. I mean, we’re both the same age, but she makes me feel younger. We’ve known each other since we were little kids, you couldn’t find closer friends. Seriously, you couldn’t. At a young age, we were informed we were deities, or ‘Guardians’, of our birth countries.

Alexia was born in the Republic of Ireland but was brought over here days after her birth. I was born in England, so I’m the deity of the United Kingdom. Our job is to protect the balance of our country, and sometimes tip it in favour or dis-favour. It can only be determined if we Moralise or Demoralise through one game. Chess. From the moment we could use our hands, it wasn’t colouring books, no no. It was chess.

“YOU’LL be careful, trouble won’t. I’m just glad that game we had then wasn’t a Game of Fate, I doubt even god could of helped Ireland if it was one.” She smiled again. I have to admit, she may be my closest friend, but I couldn’t help but stare when she smiles. Call it whatever you wish, she was HOT either way. Another good thing, we see each other EVERY day.

“It seems to work that way…” I smiled, what can I say? Her smiles were infectious. I always compliment her hair and eyes, and she compliments mine, but I don’t pay attention when she compliments ME. I just lose focus and day dream. My hair was brown and came down to my eyebrows, while at the back it just touched the back of my neck. My eyes were a similar shade of brown to hers, but a tad bit darker.

“I almost forgot, I haven’t complimented your hair today, have I Alexia?” I smiled again.

“I hope it’s looking as good as yours is.”

“Nah, your hair’s amazing.” My eyes found hers, and I’m certain she noticed the blush on my cheeks. She loves teasing me whenever this happens. My fears confirmed themselves when she narrowed her eyes, and smirked evilly.

“How about a game of chess.” She asked, a smirk now visible on her features. I narrowed my eyes and tilted my head to the side, cautious of what the reward would be.

“And what are your winner-loser terms?” I asked, caution echoing in my voice.

“Winner gets a kiss off the loser. Loser has to kiss the winner.” Now she laughed, but I was determined to catch her off guard. Once I accept, she has no choice but to play.

“You’re on!” My face still red, we sat down.
